Vincent Paquin is a psychiatry resident at McGill University and a research intern in Dr. Geoffroy’s team. He completed an MD at Université Laval in 2019.

During medical school, Dr. Paquin received scholarships from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and Université Laval to complete research internships in child development and in Inuit health. His career goal is to become clinician-scientist and work in early intervention services for youth mental health. Since starting psychiatry residency, Dr. Paquin has participated in multiple research projects focusing on environmental determinants of development and mental health. He holds a grant from the Stratas Foundation to conduct a prospective cohort study of the interplay between environmental exposures, lifestyle and subclinical psychosis symptoms in young adults.
